Nick Washuta
Crease Coach Director • PLL Goalie, Utah Archers #18
Nick Washuta is a professional lacrosse goalie in the Premier Lacrosse League, currently with the Utah Archers (2021-present, #18). Before Utah, he played for the Denver Outlaws (2020, #18) after being drafted 11th overall in the 2020 MLL Draft, and started for four years at the University of Vermont (2016-2020, #18). Nick is a back-to-back PLL Champion (2023, 2024) and one of the top goalies in the league, known for his quick reflexes and game intelligence. Before turning pro, he was an All-American at Vermont: a 2020 captain, 2019 team MVP, and the 2018 NCAA Division I statistical champion for save percentage, setting the UVM record for most wins in a single season by a goalie. Nick coaches at Torrey Pines and leads Crease Coach, where he builds well-rounded goalies through physical conditioning, mental resilience, and game intelligence - personalized coaching and game-like scenarios focused on quick reflexes, precise positioning, and effective communication. He has sent multiple boys and girls goalies on to Division I lacrosse and everything in between. Whatever level your goalie is working toward, Nick has lived it.
