Training Basics
What age groups do you train?+
Youth through high school. Every session lists its age group, and private lessons are tailored to any age or level.
Does my goalie need experience?+
No. Brand-new goalies are welcome. Tell us your goalie's experience level and we will point you to the right session.
What should goalies bring?+
Full goalie gear: helmet with throat guard, chest protector, goalie gloves, cup, and goalie stick. Bring water and the right shoes for the surface. Each event page lists anything extra.
What is the difference between private, small group, and large group training?+
Private is one-on-one with a personalized plan. Small group is capped at 3 goalies for individual attention plus competition. Large group is high-energy and high-rep with multiple cages and live shooters.
How do private lessons work?+
Reach out through the contact page, tell us about your goalie, and we will match the right coach, location, and time. Every lesson is built around your goalie's goals.
How do I know which session is right for my goalie?+
Start with the training page comparison, or just ask us. We will give you an honest answer, even if the answer is "wait for the next one."
Sessions & Registration
How does registration work?+
Every event page has a registration form. It takes about 3 minutes: player info, waiver signature, and secure payment through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay accepted.
Is there a waiver?+
Yes. You sign the Crease Coach waiver during registration. Sessions at the San Diego Seals Training Facility also require the facility's own waiver, which is linked on those event pages and in your confirmation email.
What happens if a session is full?+
Join the waitlist on the event page. We email waitlisted families first when a spot opens or a new date is added.
Can field players come as shooters?+
At select large group sessions, yes. The event page will say so.
Do you offer team or club training?+
Yes. We run goalie sessions for club programs and school teams. Use the contact form and choose Team or Club Training.
Locations
Where do you train?+
San Diego, Point Loma, North County, and Orange County, with more Southern California locations coming. Every event page includes the address, parking notes, and arrival details.
Do parents need to stay?+
Parents are welcome to watch. For youth sessions we ask that a parent or guardian remain on site.
Policies
What is the refund policy?+
[PENDING OWNER CONFIRMATION] Cancel 48 or more hours before a session for a full credit toward any future session. Inside 48 hours, we will do our best to fill your spot from the waitlist; if we can, you receive full credit. No-shows are not credited. If Crease Coach cancels a session, you choose a full refund or credit.
Is my payment information secure?+
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified processor. Crease Coach never sees or stores your card details.
How is my player's information handled?+
We collect only what we need to run safe sessions, we do not sell it, and parents can request deletion anytime. Full details are in our privacy policy.
Do you offer video review?+
Soon. Join the waitlist on the Video Review page and you will be first to know.
How do I contact Crease Coach?+
The contact page, email, or Instagram DM. We respond within 5 business days, and Instagram DM is usually the fastest way to reach us.
