Cookie Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
The short version
We only use cookies that the site needs to work: keeping you signed in and getting you back to the right page during checkout and sign-in. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share information about your browsing.
Because every cookie we use is strictly necessary, there is nothing to switch on or off, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
Cookies we use
- Sign-in (names beginning sb- and ending -auth-token): keeps you signed in to your account, and protects the Google sign-in process. Set only when you sign in. Lasts up to 400 days, or until you sign out.
- Return address (cc_return_to): remembers which page to bring you back to after you click a sign-in link from your email. Lasts 1 hour.
- New registration (cc_new_guardian): if something interrupts your first registration (for example you go back from the payment page), lets you try again without being told your new account already exists. It gives no access to any information. Lasts 2 hours.
These are first-party cookies: only this website can read them. None of them is used to track you on other websites.
Other companies
- Payments: when you pay, you go to a checkout page run by Stripe, which uses its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Stripe’s privacy policy applies there.
- Facebook: our Socials page can show our latest Facebook posts, but only if you click to load them. Once loaded, Facebook may set its own cookies and learn that you visited that page. If you never load the feed, Facebook gets nothing from our site.
- Links to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Google Maps take you to those sites, where their own cookie policies apply.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in or finish registering. The rest of the site will still work.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, such as for analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
