This session is open to all levels. Every goalie gets coached where they are. Girls goalies are welcome to register; shots come from boys shooters.

How The Session Runs

Goalies check in 15 minutes early. We open with a dynamic stretch, footwork, and hand-eye warm ups, then move through coached stations and finish with live competition.

ParkingPark in the Peninsula Family YMCA lot off Valeta St; if the lot is full, street parking on Valeta St. The clinic runs on Rady Children s Field, the turf field just below the Y.

ArrivalPlease arrive 15 minutes early, dressed and ready to gear up.

Field waiver required. This facility requires its own registration waiver for every parent or player. Complete the facility waiver here before the session.

Full goalie gear: helmet with throat guard, chest protector, goalie gloves, cup, goalie stick. Bring water and cleats or turf shoes.

Event FAQ

Does my goalie need experience?+

No. Brand-new goalies are welcome. Tell us your goalie's experience level and we will point you to the right session.

What should goalies bring?+

Full goalie gear: helmet with throat guard, chest protector, goalie gloves, cup, and goalie stick. Bring water and the right shoes for the surface. Each event page lists anything extra.

How does registration work?+

Every event page has a registration form. It takes about 3 minutes: player info, waiver signature, and secure payment through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay accepted.

Is there a waiver?+

Yes. You sign the Crease Coach waiver during registration. Sessions at the San Diego Seals Training Facility also require the facility's own waiver, which is linked on those event pages and in your confirmation email.

What happens if a session is full?+

Join the waitlist on the event page. We email waitlisted families first when a spot opens or a new date is added.

Can field players come as shooters?+

At select large group sessions, yes. The event page will say so.

Do parents need to stay?+

Parents are welcome to watch. For youth sessions we ask that a parent or guardian remain on site.

What is the refund policy?+

We keep it simple: credits instead of refunds. Cancel 48 hours or more before a session and you receive a full credit toward any future session, no questions asked. Inside 48 hours, we will try to fill your spot; if we can, you get the credit. No-shows are not credited. If Crease Coach cancels a session (weather, field closures), you choose a full refund or a credit.

Is my payment information secure?+

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified processor. Crease Coach never sees or stores your card details.
